Why is that cartoon girl on all these pages smoking?
Because, though I assembled the quilt in a smoke-free workshop, and it was machine quilted in a smoke-free workshop, I have no idea if the squares were completed in smoke-free homes. Granted, it's been several years since they were made, but I still cannot guarantee they have never come in contact with cigarette smoke, so if you have an extremely sensitive allergy, be advised of that.

Can I PayPal you my raffle donation?

No. I do not want raffle funds in any way associated with my personal finances. As long as the donations are made directly through the NMSS website, raffle participants are assured that their donations are going straight to the charity.

Can I mail you my raffle donation?

No (unless you already know me personally and have my home address). I do not have the ability or time to deal with mailed-in donations on a large scale.

Can I give you my raffle donation in person?
If you live in or around the Boston area, you may give me your donation in person, yes. I will be accepting donations--Checks or Money Orders made out to "National Multiple Sclerosis Society", or cash--at Ceremony (at An Tua Nua in Kenmore Square) on March 24th, and at Bottle Rocket (at O'Brien's Pub in Allston) on April 1st (no, that's not an April Fool's joke, i really will). Other dates/times will be announced here as they come up. If you want to use your credit card, you must pledge online, sorry.

I think the pledge form screwed up...can you help me with tech support on the donation process?

No. The NMSS website is whom you need to contact with technical issues. I have emailed them myself with technical problems while setting up my Participant account, and they are pretty prompt with responses.

I can't find you through the Pledge form! Help!

Where it says "Participant Name", put in my first and last names, Rachel Pollock. Don't put anything for Team Name or state. At the next screen, choose "ePledge Now"--that is the first link at the top. You do not have to register with the site (though you can if you like). If at any time it returns an error message, the server may be overloaded--just try again in a few hours.

I don't live in the US, can I enter the raffle?

Sure! Your credit card company will deal with the currency exchange, and I will be happy to ship the quilt overseas, should an overseas participant win the raffle.

How will I know who wins, or how much money is raised?
Once the raffle has ended, the winner and donations total will be posted on the front page of this site.

I want to make a pledge donation, but I don't want some stupid gothic quilt with spiders and bats and stuff on it.

That is totally okay by me as well. The pledge form has a place for you to include a personal message when you submit it, so just write something in there to the effect of "PLEASE DO NOT ENTER ME IN THE RAFFLE." Thanks! :D

The raffle has ended and the winner is Mina Rose Robertson!!

Thank you to everyone for your donations. The total raised was $1815!

Because your ePledges go directly through the NMSS New England Chapter website, you are assured that your raffle donations are going directly to the charity.

No one involved with the quilt raffle has access to your donation funds or your credit card information.
